This study aimed to identify socio-cultural system of bajo tribe for Maternal Health Services. The research type was qualitative research with an ethnographic paradigm. The results showed that mothers in the tribe already knew the signs of pregnancy and childbirth, the importance of antenatal care, and postpartum care. However, mothers perceived that health of pregnancy and childbirth was still not important compared to the period of labor. There was a belief about dietary restrictions during pregnancy and abstinence before labor. The Bajo people were mostly fishermen with an average income less than regional minimum wages.
